Order some yummy homemade chicken salad and support your Greatwood Gators! We’ll have our own signup for ordering and they will deliver it to Greatwood Pool #1 from 5:45-6:15. Friday, May 19^th – Fun Friday, Silly String Showdown

All swimmers present & attending practice will have their names entered into a drawing by age group and the winners will get to spray their favorite coach with silly string… but watch out, the coach will have silly string too! 

Friday, May 26^th – Fun Friday, Water Gun Knock Out

All swimmers present & attending practice will have their names entered into a drawing by age group and the winners will compete to see who can knock all the cups off their favorite coaches’ heads first. Each swimmer will get to pick 3 coaches and the cups will be filled with water! 

Thursday, June 1^st – Spirit Day @ MOD Pizza

Grab lunch or dinner at Mod Pizza dine in or carry out and 20% of all sales gets donated back to the Gators. Have some yummy pizza and help the team all at the same time! 

Friday, June 2^nd - Fun Friday, Coach for the Day Drawing

All swimmers present & attending practice will have their names entered into a drawing by age group and the winners will be invited to join the coaches pool side and be “Coach for the Day” at practice on Monday, June 5th. Swimmers will wear a coach shirt and be provided their own “Coach” visor and whistle to keep..    

Tuesday, June 6^th- Mom’s Bunco Night

Calling all Gator (& non-Gator) Moms who enjoy hanging out with friends and having a good time! If that sounds like you then you won’t want to miss this event! Mark your calendars and plan to join us for what will be an amazing evening of fun and laughter. Tickets go on sale soon, all proceeds directly benefit the Gator Seniors Scholarship Fund. 

Thursday, June 8^th – Fun Thursday, Lunch with the Coaches Drawing

All swimmers present & attending practice will have their names entered into a drawing by age group and the winners will get to have lunch with the coaches by the pool on Wednesday, June 14^th from 11-12pm! RSVP’s will be sent after the drawing. Sauer Kraut is donating lunch, be sure to tell them thank you the next time you visit!

Friday, June 16^th - Fun Friday, Pie in the Face

All swimmers present & attending practice will have their names entered into a drawing and the winners for age groups 12 & under will be allowed to choose one coach to *Pie in the Face*!

Tuesday, June 20^th – Swim-A-Thon Fundraiser

Swimmers get ready! Our swim-a-thon is back this season, and we will be raising money for our very own Gator Seniors! Registration fee gets you in, donuts afterwards and prizes for each swimmer per age-group with the most laps. Mark your calendars, more details and signups coming soon. There will be no practice that morning, we’ll have a modified schedule for the event.

Tuesday, June 20^th – Freddy’s Spirit Lunch

Let’s meet up at Freddy’s for lunch after the swim-a-thon! A portion of all proceeds go back to the Gators!

Friday, June 23rd – Fun Friday - Gator Float Relay Races

All swimmers present & attending practice will have their names entered into a drawing by age group, 2 boys and 2 girls will be drawn. Each swimmer will select their favorite coach and join a relay race team. The two teams will race while riding a Gator float in the pool. May the fastest Gators win!

Sunday, June 25^th - Gator End of Season Banquet

It's time to clean off all the chlorine, put on something nice, and spend a fun filled evening with your teammates, coaches, and families celebrating another great Gator season! Mark your calendars for June 25th from 5pm-8:00pm. Location: Sugar Land Baptist Church, 16755 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77479.

Each swimmer receives a free banquet ticket with their paid swim team registration fee. Additional tickets for parents, grandparents, and non-swimming siblings can be purchased separately. Tickets will go on sale soon. Deadline to RSVP is Friday, June 23rd at noon.

Tuesday, June 27th - Gator Day @ Splashway

Lotion up the kids, pack the cooler, and plan for a day of fun with your Gator Coaches, Crew and teammates at Splashway Waterpark. The park is open from 11am-6pm. Coolers are allowed, no glass or alcohol. Check out our online schedule for all the event details and to purchase tickets for $39.99 ($59.99 at the gate).
